What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

1. Who we are

REACTIVE.PH operates a property marketplace and professional network for Philippine real estate. We act as the personal information controller for the data described below.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address, password (stored only as a hash), username and REACTIVE ID.
Profile data: display name, legal names, headline, biography, photo, roles and expertise.
Professional credentials: PRC, DHSUD and similar registration documents submitted for verification.
Property data: listings, requirements, addresses, coordinates, titles and supporting documents.
Activity data: enquiries, leads, follows, posts, questions, answers and reviews.
Technical data: IP address, browser user agent and session records, used for security.

3. Personal data is separated from your public profile

Sensitive personal details — residence address, date of birth, civil status, gender, religion and emergency contacts — are stored apart from the public profile and are never included in public output. Credential documents are held in private storage and are readable only by you and by administrators reviewing them.

4. Property locations are published approximately

A listing's exact coordinates are never published. Public pages and maps show an approximate position only; the precise location is disclosed to a prospective buyer by the poster, at the poster's discretion. Photographs are stripped of embedded metadata, including GPS coordinates, when they are uploaded.

5. Field-by-field visibility

Most profile fields carry their own visibility setting — public, members-only, or private — which you control. Some fields are permanently private and cannot be made public by you, by an administrator, or by any part of the platform.

6. How we use it

To operate your account and publish what you choose to publish.
To match requirements against listings and notify you about relevant activity.
To verify professional credentials submitted to the platform.
To keep the marketplace safe: moderation, fraud prevention and abuse reports.
To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not sell contact lists to advertisers.

7. Retention

Account and listing records are retained while your account is open and for as long afterwards as a legitimate record-keeping, audit or legal purpose requires. Deleted content is generally soft-deleted so that transaction history stays intact.

8. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act

Republic Act No. 10173 gives you the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectify, to erase or block, to damages, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. Requests can be made through the contact page.

9. Cookies and sessions

A session cookie keeps you signed in; it is HTTP-only. A second, optional cookie remembers the language you chose. Nothing else is set.
